On Friday 2nd April 04, I spoke to Ben Verwaayen, who is Head of BT Broadband. I expressed my appreciation to him for the efforts he, and his staff, had made over the previous year in rolling out Broadband to rural exchanges. It has to be realised that BT have been enabling some 40 to 50 exchanges a week, which is no mean feat, and I feel that they deserve to be applauded.
I am pleased to say that since 2004 BT has now enabled nearly all their telephone exchanges for Broadband. Following recent trials. most of these exchanges will have speed increases of up to 8mb from 31 March 2006. The Bleadon, Banwell, Winscombe and Churchill exchanges are already confirmed for this date.

I am delighted to say that all my Broadband Campaigns:- Bleadon - Banwell - Winscombe and Churchill were successful, and that Broadband is now available in all these areas. Thank you to all who supported me.
