Well I think it is
about time I added a page devoted to our New England American Family.
I have to mention Bob and Iris, who moved to Vermont when Bob retired, but who used to live in
Lynn just outside Boston, sadly Bob died and Iris has now moved back to Lynn. Most of their family still live in the Lynn
area, and include Debbie, Denise, Donna, Gayle and Lisa. Without the help
of some of these girls I wouldn't have managed to master the computer, so thanks
girls. I hope you like the photos I have added. I know some of them
are a bit old, but they bring back happy memories.
The Photograph shows Bob and Iris with Ann, and
was taken when they visited us a few years ago. During their
visit we went into a typical English Pub and Bob was able to get
behind the bar and say the immortal words "The drinks are on me"
Of course he quickly added the words "Just kidding" before he got
crushed in the rush.
I am sure the girls will like this photo of their
father, which was taken before his recent illness. He and Iris
moved to Vermont after he retired. This was something he
had always wanted to do. Sadly Bob has now died and Iris has
moved back to Lynn to be near her family.

view of Vermont in the Fall. Which doesn't really do it justice, but
is the only photo I have. The area is just magical at any time of
the year, and the people so friendly. Any visit to the USA must
include a trip to this New England area.
It would be as well though to prepare for the cold if
you decide to visit the area in the winter as this photo will show.
It is the sort of place where your snow tyres will be
put to the test.
Well, that is just a short sample, but I hope it will help to show the love
we feel for all the people I have mentioned and for their families.
